Notes
'Summer Sunshine' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Summer Sunshine') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The white Japanese blooms have a golden-yellow center and neat petal crinkling. Each stem carries 2 to 4 buds, and the stems are strong. Roy G. Klehm bred it.
Pairs well with Sedge, Sensitive fern, and Grape hyacinth.
