Notes

'Sun Devil' blanket flower (Gaillardia grandiflora 'Sun Devil') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Its red and yellow bicolor blooms attract butterflies and bees. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Ballerina zinnia.
