Notes

'Sun Devil' peony (Paeonia 'Sun Devil') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Fragrant yellow blooms shaded pink and peach open over a long season, first on woody stems and later on new shoots. Nate Bremer bred it. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Niobe clematis, Big bluestem, and Grape hyacinth.
