Notes
'Sunday Wine Red' celosia (Celosia argentea 'Sunday Wine Red') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and accents. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. The red plumes are uniform, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer. It is also drought tolerant.
Pairs well with California Giants zinnia, Blackfoot daisy, and Hyacinth bean.
