Notes
'Sunrise Flash' peony (Paeonia 'Sunrise Flash') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. The single light yellow flowers have copper shading and darker edges, and the early foliage emerges burgundy before it turns green.
Pairs well with Blue Angel hosta, Culver’s root, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Carlton daffodil.
