Notes

'Sunset Coral' garden phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Sunset Coral') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. It blooms from early to late summer, and the fragrant flowers draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer rarely make it their first choice. The clump grows up to 36 inches tall.

Pairs well with Dense blazing star, Bee balm, and Little bluestem.
