Notes

'Sunset Popsy' blanket flower (Gaillardia grandiflora 'Sunset Popsy') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and butterflies and bees visit the flowers. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Hidcote lavender, Sapphire alpine oatgrass, and Red-hot poker.
