Notes
'Sunspire' magnolia (Magnolia 'Sunspire') is a tree for specimen planting, privacy screens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deep yellow, fragrant flowers open in early to late spring. Bees visit the blooms, and birds visit the tree too. The foliage stays evergreen.
Pairs well with Limelight hydrangea, Guacamole hosta, and Casa Blanca lily.
