Notes

'Suzanne Riviere' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Suzanne Riviere') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows about four feet tall and branches freely on stout stems. Pure white double flowers open in mid to late spring. The blooms have an unusual V-shaped form and show pale green petioles.

Pairs well with Elegans hosta, Paris coral bells, Cinnamon fern, and Garlic chives.
