Notes

'Swansdown' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Swansdown') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The semi-double white flowers have golden centers and a sweet fragrance. Michael Haworth-Booth bred it.

Pairs well with Elegans hosta, Paris coral bells, Blue fescue, and Cinnamon fern.
