Notes

'Sweet Lemonade' peony (Paeonia 'Sweet Lemonade') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The 5 inch semi-double to double blooms are soft yellow with red edging on the center petals, and stems lift them to 30 inches. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Keep it away from dogs and cats because it is toxic to both.

Pairs well with Rainforest Sunrise hosta, Little Beauty tulip, Pyrethrum, and Bobo hydrangea.
