Notes
'Sweet Mace Marigold' Mexican marigold (Tagetes lucida 'Sweet Mace Marigold') is an annual for borders, containers, and cut flower use. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full or part sun. It stays small, at 2 to 4 inches tall. The flowers are fragrant and draw butterflies and bees. It also tolerates drought, so it suits dry spots.
Pairs well with Vermillionaire cuphea, Lemongrass, and Mexican petunia.
