Notes

'Strawberry Blonde' French marigold (Tagetes patula 'Strawberry Blonde') is an annual for borders, containers, and annual beds. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms a clumping mound 9 to 12 inches tall, and the fragrant flowers in yellow, coral-pink, and deep red attract butterflies. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Ageratum, Celosia, and Red fescue.
