Notes

'Fireball' French marigold (Tagetes patula 'Fireball') is an annual for borders, containers, and cut flowers. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms a clumping mound up to 12 inches tall and has fragrant blooms. The flowers attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It also tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Globe amaranth, Double Click Snow Puff cosmos, and Red fescue.
