Notes

'Sweet Millie' peony (Paeonia 'Sweet Millie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant, semi-double flowers open cool red-pink and fade paler with age. The upright stems stand well in bad weather, so you do not need to stake them. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Earth Angel hosta, White Swan coneflower, Switchgrass, and Annabelle hydrangea.
