Notes

'Sweet Prince' peony (Paeonia 'Sweet Prince') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears big red single cup blooms that are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Dense blazing star, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Western sword fern.
