Notes

'Sychar' peony (Paeonia 'Sychar') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, fragrant, deep pink flowers have white flares, and the spreading stems need support. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Harald Fawkner bred it.

Pairs well with Dense blazing star, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Sedge, and Picture tulip.
