Notes
'Tao Yao Yao' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Tao Yao Yao') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The semi-double flowers open in late spring and fade from purplish-pink to white. Each upward-facing bloom is about 18 cm across. Plants reach about 80 cm tall and stand upright without support.
Pairs well with Francee hosta, Annabelle hydrangea, and Sensitive fern.
