Notes

'Tavor' artichoke (Cynara cardunculus 'Tavor') is a perennial for borders, containers, specimen planting, and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy or clay soil. It grows rapidly in a clumping form and tolerates drought. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Bees and butterflies visit the green blooms.

Pairs well with Jerusalem artichoke, Blueberry, and Anemone.
