Notes
'Telstar Picotee' dianthus (Dianthus 'Telstar Picotee') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. The fragrant flowers draw butterflies and bees.
Pairs well with Lamb’s ear, Blue fescue, Stargazer lily, and Queen of Night tulip.
