Notes

'Temple of Bacchus' peony (Paeonia 'Temple of Bacchus') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Double flowers open lime green with light pink and fade to creamy light pink. Joshua Scholten bred it, and the plants stand upright without support.

Pairs well with Perennial candytuft, Blazing star, Bobo hydrangea, and Blue grama.
