Notes
'Tentation' apple (Malus domestica 'Tentation') is a tree for the food garden, grown for fresh eating. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The light golden green fruit has an orange flush. Delbard bred it in France in 1990 from Golden Delicious and Grifer. Bees visit the spring blooms.
Pairs well with Serviceberry, Lupine, and Creeping phlox.
