Notes
'The Queen' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'The Queen') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It blooms in mid to late spring with white petals flushed with pink, around a small center of golden yellow stamens. The plant has a spreading habit, so give it room. Kelway bred it.
Pairs well with Pussytoes, Scentara Double Blue lilac, Sensitive fern, and Carlton daffodil.
