Notes

'Thisbe' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Thisbe') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Dr. Frederick G. Brethour bred it in 1943. The double, light pink blooms open in mid to late spring on good stems and should open well from tight bud.

Pairs well with Scentara Double Blue lilac, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Sensitive fern, and Carlton daffodil.
