Notes

'Thunderlake' cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon 'Thunderlake') is a shrub for borders, food gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy soil. It stays evergreen and grows 9 to 12 inches tall. The low, horizontal stems spread 36 to 48 inches. Fuchsia pink flowers appear in spring and summer, and they attract butterflies, bees, and birds.

Pairs well with Sensitive fern, Nodding onion, and Black spruce.
