Notes

'Tiger Paws' eyelash begonia (Begonia bowerae 'Tiger Paws') is a perennial for containers, shade gardens, and borders. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms a clumping mound about 12 inches tall and wide with evergreen leaves. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The foliage shows a mix of colors, including green, copper, and silver.

Pairs well with Southern shield fern, Cape primrose, and Blue star fern.
