Notes

'Tinka Phillips' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Tinka Phillips') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its tall, strong stems hold full double blooms of glowing salmon pink in mid spring. The foliage is dark, waxy green. J. H. Phillips bred it and named it for his daughter.

Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Spotted dead nettle.
