Notes

'Tipsy Xi-shi' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Tipsy Xi-shi') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Pink double flowers open in late spring and face upward. The upright plants carry finely-cut, yellow-green foliage and need no support. The name comes from the pink petals, which look like princesses in dance dresses.

Pairs well with Sedge, Ostrich fern, and Shrub rose.
