Notes

'Titania' peony (Paeonia 'Titania') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The flowers open palest yellow with a rose flush, fade to white at the edges, and attract butterflies in early to late spring. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Alonzo B. Franklin bred it.

Pairs well with Star Gazer lily, Bottlebrush buckeye, Greig's tulip, and Ostrich fern.
