Notes

'Tobudmidnii' butterfly bush (Buddleja davidii 'Tobudmidnii') is a shrub for borders, hedges, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Fragrant flowers open from early to late summer and again from early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Casa Blanca lily, Ornamental onion, and Cora Louise peony.
