Notes

'Tom Eckhardt' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Tom Eckhardt') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The fragrant blooms attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It grows in an upright clump 24 to 36 inches tall and wide.

Pairs well with Lady's mantle, Globemaster allium, Foxglove, and Purple cranesbill.
