Notes
'Topeka Statue' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Topeka Statue') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large goblet flowers are light pink to white with a yellow center. Stiff stems hold the blooms upright on plants about three feet tall. Myron D. Bigger bred it in 1991.
Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Dalmatian bellflower, and Christmas fern.
