Notes

'Tourangelle' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Tourangelle') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large double flowers open late in spring with a mild, pleasant fragrance. Blooms are pale cream-white and fade to flesh-pink in the center. The stems bend and can be weak, so give the plant support.

Pairs well with Francee hosta, Sedge, and Shrub rose.
