Notes

'Tragana Edessis' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Tragana Edessis') is a columnar tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. You grow it for fresh eating, and the fruit ripens late in the season. It is not self-fertile, so plant a second cherry nearby for pollination. Spring blooms from early to late spring draw bees and butterflies.

Pairs well with Little Hottie panicle hydrangea, Mount Hood daffodil, and Royal Standard hosta.
