Notes

'Tranquil Dove' peony (Paeonia 'Tranquil Dove') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant single flowers are white with a rosy pink overlay and measure 4 to 5 inches wide. Stems are strong, and bees and butterflies visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with White Feather hosta, Little bluestem, Queen of Night tulip, and Polish Spirit clematis.
