'Tranquilite' clematis (Clematis 'Tranquilite') is a vine for trellises, pergolas, containers, and small gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Its light blue flowers have creamy white stripes, pale yellow centers, and contrasting anthers. They are 4 inches wide and open in late spring to early summer and again in early autumn. The vine stays compact at 4 to 5 feet tall.
Pairs well with Tree peony, Sedge, and Snowberry.
