Notes

'Tricolor' st. andrew's-cross (Hypericum moserianum 'Tricolor') is a shrub for borders, containers, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Yellow flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and butterflies and birds visit them. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It grows 12 to 36 inches tall and wide.

Pairs well with Eden rose, Autumn fern, and Pansy.
