Notes
'Trinket' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Trinket') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double white blooms have wide petals with fluted edges and a yellow glow at the center. Stiff stems of medium height hold the small flowers, and their strong substance makes them a good cut flower.
Pairs well with Japanese spirea, Royal fern, and Spanish bluebell.
