Notes

'Triton' peony (Paeonia 'Triton') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Large, double, deep pink flowers have twisting petals and fragrant blooms that attract butterflies and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. The stems stand up without support.

Pairs well with Stella de Oro daylily, Little bluestem, and Annabelle hydrangea.
