Notes

'Tropicana' peony (Paeonia 'Tropicana') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Jack Nordick bred it, and the coral-pink flowers are fragrant and last well in a vase. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Polish Spirit clematis.
