Notes
Turkish tulip (Tulipa acuminata) is a bulb for borders, containers, and naturalizing. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Its upright stems carry narrow, twisting yellow petals tipped with scarlet, as if in flame. It blooms from early to late spring and grows 12 to 24 inches tall. Give it good drainage and it will naturalize when happy.
Pairs well with Spanish bluebell, Snowdrop, and Rainbow's End hosta.
