Notes

'Turmalin' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Turmalin') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The ball-shaped flowers show different shades of pink and white, sometimes creamy at the edges. Unlike most Rockii hybrids, it carries more than one bloom on each stem. Stiff stems hold the flowers up well.

Pairs well with Cinnamon fern, Blue fescue, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
