Notes

'Upright' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Upright') is a tree for pollinator gardens and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. Its columnar shape fits small spaces, and bees and butterflies visit the flowers from early to late spring. The tree is not self-fertile, so plant a second cherry nearby for fruit.

Pairs well with Pinky Winky panicle hydrangea, Thalia daffodil, and Blanket flower.
