Notes

'Valda' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'Valda') is a bulb for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy soil. Tall red blooms are fragrant and open in early to late summer. Bees visit the flowers, and the stems reach about 35 inches, so you may want to stake them in a windy spot.

Pairs well with Mountain mint, Mondo grass, and Stock.
