Notes

'Variegata' Spanish dagger (Yucca gloriosa 'Variegata') is a succulent for specimen plantings, containers, rock gardens, and xeriscape beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It grows in a slow, clumping form, stays evergreen, and tolerates drought and salt. Creamy white flowers attract bees and birds. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Prickly-pear, Gaura, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
