'Walbristar' Spanish dagger (Yucca gloriosa 'Walbristar') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It is evergreen and clumping, and it grows slowly. It also tolerates drought and salt.
