Notes
'Bright Star' Spanish dagger (Yucca gloriosa 'Bright Star') is a succulent for borders, containers, specimen planting, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It grows slowly into a clumping evergreen about 3 feet tall and wide. Drought and salt do not bother it, so it suits low care spots. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.
Pairs well with Fire spinner ice plant, Stonecrop, and Mexican bush sage.
