Notes

'Victoria' clematis (Clematis 'Victoria') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Mauve blooms with red shading and white stamens open in spring, summer, and autumn, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit them. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Thomas Cripps and Son bred it.

Pairs well with New Dawn rose, Lily of the incas, and Little bluestem.
