Notes
'Viva Polonia' clematis (Clematis 'Viva Polonia') is a vine for containers, cottage gardens, and borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The fuchsia flowers have white stripes and lemon-yellow stamens, and the plant grows 4 to 6 feet high. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Szczepan Marczynski bred it.
Pairs well with Bee balm, Peony, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
