Notes

'Vivid Glow' peony (Paeonia 'Vivid Glow') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large, cup-shaped, single flowers open salmon-pink and are fragrant, and strong stems hold them up well. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Lyman Cousins bred it in 1974.

Pairs well with Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, Little bluestem, and Limelight hydrangea.
